Some may roll their eyes at this but really, what did you accomplish by your 19th birthday? At the tender age of 10, Taylor had the guts to take the stage at every karaoke contest, festival, and county fair that passed through her hometown of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. When she was 11, she took a trip to Music City and left a trail of amused receptionists as she dropped off her homemade demo tape at every label in town. At 14, she became the youngest person ever to be signed as a professional staff songwriter at Sony/ATV Publishing. She signed her first record deal before she could drive. And at 17, she became the youngest person to single-handedly write and sing a #1 country hit entirely on her own. Taylor has hosted SNL and co-starred in the hit film “Valentine’s Day.” But what really blows me away is the classy way she conducts herself. Despite all of her accomplishments she keeps her feet on the ground and her priorities in check.
I had the absolute pleasure of attending Miss Swift’s concert in LA this past week. Her sets were almost as dazzling as she is.
She was wonderful live and the audience knew every word to each one of her songs. It was unreal to see what an connection she has made with so many women from little girls and beyond.
I think younger girls love her because she gives their thoughts and feelings a voice and reassures them that they are not the only ones to feel a certain way.
I think that women older than Miss Swift love her because she reminds them of being that age and takes them back to the time of crushes and first kisses.
She is an amazing and talented performer with so much presence and energy. She was a true delight to watch.
In addition to everything above, she is just absolutely darling.
