Dinner at David Burke Townhouse
June 2nd, 2011One of my favorite places to dine in the city is at the David Burke Townhouse. The food is always delicious and the whimsical presentation is perfectly carried out from start to finish. The bread was baked and served in individual copper pans and the butter was served on a pink salt block.
The split pea soup was served tableside with a fried, soft-boiled egg.
Their pretzel crab cake appetizer is one of my all time favorites.
I had the blackened sea bass as my main course. It was served with a sweet sesame sauce as was scrumptious!
The Mister had the braised short-ribs with pasta.
We ended the meal with some decadent chocolate mousse and..
a wonderfully rich chocolate torte.

Yum, I love DB– his food is like edible artwork. Have you been to his new spot in Soho yet?
