Newport Beach Boat Show
April 16th, 2010I had the privilege of viewing this gorgeous 76′ Nordhaven at the boat show yesterday. I have seen bigger yachts, but never one that was so well thought-out and decorated to my tastes (please excuse the blue plastic protecting the carpets).
The owner chose to use a contrast of dark wood and light marble or upholstery throughout the ship.
Look at all of that gorgeous marble in the shower!
This ship also had a wonderfully open and family style galley. Finally someone realized that the kitchen is always the gathering spot – even on a yacht! Look closely and you can see the mock alligator floors – they were divine!!!
The beautiful dinning area adjacent to the kitchen. The contrasts in the interior are seen again here. I love that that it’s dramatic but not overpowering.
The lovely living area – try and see past the blue plastic.
Even mission control had some fabulous reptile-print embossed chairs!
Check out the gorgeous sink basin.
The jacuzzi. I can easily picture myself here looking out at the lights in the Monaco harbor…
After a day spent sunning here.
