The Iconic Blog, Live a Life Less Ordinary

This past Sunday I had the privilege of attending the New York City Food and Wine Festival. It was a gorgeous Fall day to head to the pier and sample some deliciousness.

The tents were set up on Pier 54 and created the perfect venue on such a sunny afternoon.

My husband and I were cracking up about how cheesy the “wine necklaces” were but immediately realized there use once we got inside and had 5 less hands than were necessary.

Some of the more popular tents were packed. They had a wonderful assortment and a few of the highlights were malbecs from the oldest winery in Argentina, sparkling sake and plum wine, pomegranate sorbet, nutella waffles, mini lobster rolls, a delicate rosé from Saint Tropez and infused chocolates.

They did a wonderful job of keeping everything moving and having every station stocked.

I loved the culinary demonstrations. After each demo they passed around what they had just prepared. Yum!

The perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
