My husband I were married last June in Napa. We stayed with our families and the wedding party at a gorgeous estate in Calistoga for the week prior the wedding. The actual day of the wedding was such a blur. Arriving early and spending time with those closest to us was one of our favorite things about the whole experience.

The Private Estate

Besides the estate, the other fabulous choice we made was to enlist the talented Susan Stripling to document a few days of the celebration. Credit all photos on today’s post to Susan Stripling.

We also hosted our rehearsal dinner at the estate. It was a beautiful event planned and designed by Sasha Souza.

The theme of the rehearsal dinner was the South of France (where my husband proposed). We served a fresh halibut with olives and capers for the main course.

It was the perfect way to start the wedding weekend.
