I am so thrilled to announce that my Entrepreneuress soulmate, Roxy Te, debuted her collection of all things fabulous with her magazine Society Social.

I am planning on showcasing her gorgeous pthyon number in my grey and gold living room.

How great is her use of one of our Luxury Monogram pillows in this shot?

So beyond honored to have been featured (pg.37).

I’m so proud of this darling girl for not only being so outragesouly fabulous (:sigh: a girl after my own heart), but also for enduring everything that goes into launching a business.

So cheers to Roxy! Here is to one of the first of many accomplishments!xx

    The Homes of Greenwich Harbor

    August 11th, 2011

During one of our days in Greenwich, we chartered a yacht and cruised around the harbor looking at all of the magnificent homes on the ocean.

    They were spectacular and HUGE!

    They featured all different styles…

    but were all utterly fabulous.

It was so much fun looking at them all and trying to choose a favorite!

    Which one do you love?

    A Weekend in Greenwich

    August 8th, 2011

I just got back from the loveliest weekend in Connecticut. Mornings were spent eating room service in fluffy white robes overlooking the harbor.

After massages we headed straight to the boat!

Afternoons were spent drifting at sea and enjoying views of all of the fabulous homes (more on those to come).

And the evenings were spent dining in Greenwich’s finest restaurants.

Now that is what I call a “restoring” weekend!

Last week I had the honor of attending a charity event at the NYSE.

The entire trading floor was turned into a party and it was unbelievable!

It was such a mind-blowing experience.

The food was fantastic and the place was filled!

    The mister thoroughly enjoyed himself.

I had to take care of business.

It was such a fantastic night.

    Bookcase Before and After

    August 2nd, 2011

My design guru, The Decorista, recently instructed me to take all of the jackets off of my books and group them by color. I wasn’t convinced that it would make too much of a difference but when the The Decorista tells you to do something you do it!

Now I see why she makes the big bucks. It looks SO much better!!!

Can you stand this nautical delciousness!?

Or this fab stack of posh pink?

She is brilliant, I tell you.

Last night I had the pleasure of attending an incredible dinner party at the home of Kelley Moore and The Decorista.

The night started off with a bottle of bubbly while we waited for Camille, Erin, Lisa and Caitlin to arrive.

Kelley and Ashlina’s place is so fun and fabulous. The ultimate Manhattan bachlorette pad.

We enjoyed a divine antipasto course all fresh from Eataly.

The place settings and tablescape were nothing short of spectacular.

There is nothing like fine dining with a bunch of fabulous female entrepreneurs from all across the county.

It kind of gives a whole new meaning to the idea of Sunday night dinners, doesn’t it?

I recently inherited an Eames chair and I couldn’t be more excited!

My mind is spinning thinking of all the different ways I want to style it.

There are very few iconic pieces of furniture and I couldn’t think of a better piece to add to my collection.

Mine is a luxurious tan color and it is going to be gorgeous against my new teal walls.

I love how seamlessly it blends with any design.

    Perfection, no?

    Bedroom Design Redefined

    July 26th, 2011

    Via La Dolce Vita

For months I have been trying to figure out what to do with my bedroom. First I was in love with wallpapering it, but then the logistics of doing that in a rental put that to rest. Then I was going to leave it all white (but I mean really, can you get much more boring?) So then yesterday I stumbled across this image and it hit me. TEAL WALLS. They are vibrantly luxe can mix with so many hues (not to mention all of the current furniture in that room) AND they make the most insane background for amethyst and citrine.

I’ll be going for an effect such as this but with more of a teal hued wall and a deeper amethyst shade for the drapes.

And upon those amethyst drapes I will most certainly be adding a custom citrine Greek key trim.

For the finishing touch I am intent on finding the most utterly fabulous chartreuse chair to complete my jewel box of a bedroom.

    What do you think?
